22 YEAR OLD IRISH WHISKEY

A very limited edition 22 year old single malt matured in first fill Kentucky bourbon barrels. Only 600 bottles produced and all numbered. 46% ABV

Matured for 22 years, this special whiskey is a wonderful expression of the long aging of Irish Single Malt in first-fill bourbon barrels. There is no ‘finish’ to mask the interplay of whiskey and oak.

TASTING NOTES.

Deep gold, with buttery mids and lemon-yellow highlights.

Nose:

Madarin, vanilla and spice notes with honey warmth. Then tropical fruit – banana, pineapple.

Palate:

Gloriously rich and round with a distinct creaminess. Then cut with a citrus tang of orange and lemon, quickly followed by a spicy complexity and notes of stonefruit, nuts and apple.

Finish:

Long and luscious in the mouth with a final, white pepper flourish.
